Customers often mention the superb full English breakfast. People particularly love the inviting decor and cozy seating, both inside and outside, which makes dining pleasant regardless of the weather.
Some diners find the prices on the higher side, especially when opting for multiple courses. Yet, many agree the quality of food justifies the cost. The cafe can get quite busy, particularly on weekends, leading to longer wait times for seating and service, which might not appeal to those looking for a quick meal. While the outdoor seating is charming, some guests wish there were more shaded areas for sunny days. Sufficient parking can sometimes become an issue on peak days, especially with limited controlled parking nearby. Additionally, though the food is generally praised, there are scattered complaints about specific items lacking flavor, though this tends to vary with personal tastes.
absolutely lovely servers and gorgeous food with a range of options for everyone. we thought the food was a bit pricey but the portions and the presentations made it worth it! atmosphere was super welcoming and its a cute stop facing the beautiful clevedon pier. must visit :)
I visited a lovely Cafe/Restaurant on Clevedon front not far from the Pier. Very friendly staff and helpful in this very busy Cafe. Seating inside and outside. Tea is made with proper tea leaves and tea pot has a pretty cover to keep tea warm. Toasted Tea Cake with butter and jam was my choice and so fresh melted in your mouth. Tea was delicious and I made 2 and half cups excellent. Lovely selection of cakes, sandwiches/rolls and soup in the menu and much more. Well worth a visit I loved it.
Nice cafe with a view of the sea. Seems like a lot of regulars come here which is a great sign. I thoroughly enjoyed my full English, I thought most of it was quite good quality, the blood sausage was especially tasty. Generous portion of toast. The service was prompt and friendly, the place had a good vibe, would recommend for as a cafe and as a breakfast spot.
Found this place when walking around Clevedon. Buzzing atmosphere inside and out. Lovely location looking over the Bristol channel. Welcoming and attentive staff. Delicious soup and cake. Chef even split the soup for us to share. Great looking menu and the food that was coming out to other customers looked really good. Dog friendly. Hope to visit again.
Delicious food, very friendly and speedy service, great vibe. I had the mussels and they were very fresh and well cooked, and French onion soup which as also very good. Great lunch bistro style, will be going again :) (only have a photo of half eaten food as couldn’t wait!)
Fantastic little cafe with an interesting and varied lunch menu. Stopped here for tea+cake as well as a light lunch when we recently visited Clevedon pier. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and even at a busy lunchtime period the wait for the food to come out was very reasonable. And the food was good! Definitely recommend booking a table for lunch. Lovely outside seating area overlooking the pier and sea, but it does rather need good weather.
What an amazing find - not pretentious yet absolutely superb. Definitely 5🌟 for all aspects - location, dining outside looking onto Bristol channel, delicious meals, great coffee, very friendly service. We had late lunch/early dinner here one day and were so impressed that we came for brunch the following day. 😊 Black linguine with crab, meatballs and then full veggie breakfast were delightful.
